If you are a supervisor or skilled worker with higher qualifications or you have Level 3 NVQ or SVQ then you can apply for a Gold CSCS card. This advanced level card is proposed for supervisors within the construction industry and other with advance craft knowledge.
If you hold an advanced NVQ/SVQ certification, a Gold CSCS card will show employers that you have the capability you need to supervise personnel in a construction environment.
To qualify for Gold CSCS card you will need to prove employment experience as a supervisor in the construction industry, and having the following qualification:
- Achieved a Construction Related NVQ or SVQ level 3
- Completed an approved indentured apprenticeship (e.g. With NJCBI, BATJIC etc.)
- Completed an employer sponsored apprenticeship which included the achievement of a City and Guilds of London Institute Advanced Craft Certificate.
- Passed the Supervisory CITB Health & Safety Test or the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test
We have Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational work supervision (Construction) and other Advance Craft and/or NVQ Level 4 Site Supervisor (Construction). This card is valid for five years.
